We have already done a lot to use resources more sustainably:

 

• Renovation and doubling of all windows

• Renovation of vestibule including all front doors

• Compost extended, separation system extended

• Floor insulation of the attic

• Wall insulation of the unheated screed

• Replacement of all sanitary pipes in the north wing

• Renovation of all electrical installations

• Installation of energy-saving appliances in new kitchens

• Replacement of all light bulbs with LED

• Towels will be changed on request, except for stays of more than 7 days

• Reduction of the temperature in the living area by 1-2 degrees

• We wash dishes and laundry at low tariffs in the economy program

• We bake mainly with circulating air or in our wood-burning oven in the garden

• Installation of a rainwater tank (7500lt.) for garden irrigation and future toilet flushing as well as washing machine use

 

Please help us as our guest to do something for the environment:

• Airing out the room is better than airing it out all the time with a half-open window

• Turn off the lights when you leave a room

• Unplug appliances when they are not in use or switch them off

• Let us know if you need to change the toweling

• If you have cold feet, help yourself to slippers

• Take the following rubbish to the kitchen for separation: PET, glass, aluminum, plastic, batteries
