About us
We are renovating our listed villa dated 1905 in Aadorf step by step with affinity to the detail - our accommodation has a total of 2 guest rooms: high rooms with wallpaper, parquet floors and chandeliers. BnB Villa "Mon Repos" offers you a relaxed and central place with an affectionate host couple. For a good start in the day we serve you an exceptional breakfast.

From mid-September 2023 to spring 2025, the garden will be redesigned; during that time, there may be restrictions on use. During the winter months December-February we are closed.
Our rooms
Our renovated guest room "yellow" is on the 1st floor facing the north and disposes of an original art nouveau washbasin. The guest room “rose” is located on the 2nd floor facing the east, with a view to our park/the alps. Our antique beds have a length of 1.90 meters. On the 2nd floor is a new bathroom for guests only with shower and toilet. An additional toilet is there as well. A third room is available but not yet renovated. Since January 2022, the "Yellow" guest room has been equipped with the Rhombus bed system. Sleep like on clouds with a choice of three pillows. If the bed system has convinced you, you can order directly from us.

What we offer
Breakfast
The breakfast is served in our dining room, weather permitting on our terrace. From 6.30-9.30 a.m. (sundays 8.00-10.30 a.m.)

We give you a wifi code upon arrival.
Garden
Our park is attractive for children, it invites them to climb, romp and play, even in the tree house. When there is snow it is possible to go sledgingdown the hill. For adults the park offers nice spots to sit and relax, maybe in our hammock?
Library
Our library contains countless books from A for archaeology to Z for Zimbabwe. Browsing and reading is allowed.

Or do you prefer the water? What about a visit to the Rhine falls next to Schaffhausen or a boat trip on the river or Lake Constance? It is only a 30 minutes drive by car.
Barbecue/picnic
Enjoy homely hours with your family at the barbecue in our garden or order a filled picnic basket and head out in the green, maybe in an vintage car?
Rainy days
Even on rainy days the east part of Switzerland has something to offer, for example the Erlebniswelt Toggenburg with its biggest model railway lane 0 in Europe. Or the Stiftsbibliothek (public library) in St Gallen, which can look back over more than forteen houndreds history.
